How to Order a Property Valuation
From address entry to report delivery — the complete walkthrough.
The ordering process at a glance
Ordering a valuation on hovr takes around 5 minutes. Here's the full process:
Where to start
There are two ways to begin a valuation order:
From the home page
Go to hovr.com.au and type your property address into the large search bar on the home page. Select your address from the autocomplete suggestions — this takes you directly to the order form with your address pre-filled.

Go directly to the Request a Valuation page and enter your address there. Both paths lead to the same form.

Your full name is required for insurance purposes and will appear on the valuation report.
Enter an email address you check regularly. Your completed report and any status updates will be sent here.
Search your property address
Begin typing the street number and name (e.g. 14 Smith Street). A dropdown of suggestions will appear as you type.
Click on the correct address in the suggestions. The form will confirm the full address and a map will appear showing the property location.
Choose your reason for the valuation
Select the reason that best describes why you need this valuation. This helps match you to the most appropriate report type.
Once you select a reason, the next step (valuation type) will appear automatically.
Select your valuation type
Not sure which type to choose? Here's what each one is for:
Basic AI only
A quick automated estimate using market data. Good for general interest or a fast indicative figure. Delivered in minutes.
Desktop
A detailed report using comparable sales evidence. Suitable for CGT, stamp duty, mortgage, and general advisory purposes.
SMSF Audit ATO compliant
Required for SMSF annual returns. ATO-compliant and meets SISR 8.02B requirements. You will need your SMSF trust name and trustee details.
Certified Registered valuers
A full formal valuation signed by a registered valuer. Required for legal, finance, or court proceedings. Human only.
Estate Registered valuers
For deceased estate administration, probate, and legal distribution. Signed by a registered valuer. Human only.
Once you select a type, the next step (choosing your valuer) will appear automatically.
Choose AI or Human valuer
Select how you want your valuation completed. Note that some valuation types are fixed — Certified and Estate are always human, and Basic is always AI.
⚡ AI Valuation
An automated report generated using market data from multiple sources. Delivered almost instantly — typically within a few minutes of payment.
If AI can't complete the report, it will automatically be assigned to a human valuer at no extra charge.
👤 Human Valuation
A certified, registered valuer personally reviews and completes the report using data from Domain, REA, or Cotality.
Typically delivered within 1–3 business days.
Add to cart and complete payment
The price for your selected valuation type is shown before you proceed. For SMSF orders, a distance surcharge may apply for rural or remote properties.
For Estate valuations, an optional Sworn Affidavit add-on is available if required for probate or court proceedings.
Your order is added to the cart. Review the details one final time on the checkout page.
Enter your card details on the secure Stripe checkout page. hovr never stores your payment information. Your valuation is queued immediately on successful payment.
Receive your valuation report
Once your valuation is completed you'll receive an email with your report. Delivery times depend on the type you ordered:
AI reports (Basic & Desktop AI)
Delivered within minutes of payment confirmation.
Human-signed reports (Desktop, SMSF, Certified, Estate)
Typically 1–3 business days depending on property type and location.
